Wembdon Parish Council Planning Committee

Wembdon Parish Council examines all new planning applications in the Parish, and if there are any issues identified the application is discussed at a Parish Council Planning Committee meeting.  The Planning Committee usually meets before the monthly Parish Council Meeting, and will decide on how the Council will respond to each application. The agenda is published on the website and posted on the Parish Council noticeboards five days before a meeting.

Applicants are encouraged to speak to the Committee about their application, as may other members of the public, for up to 3 minutes.

The Parish Council could decide to support, object to, or just not to comment on the application, but these are only recommendations. The final decision on all planning applications is made by Somerset Council.
